5 Capitals has been fortunate to be involved on all phases of the prominent NOOR solar projects in Ourzazate, Bourjdour and Laayoune. Our engagements have included the preparation of all ESIA studies, Environmental & Social compliance auditing during the construction phase and on-going operational phase compliance auditing, with reports being submitted to the project proponent MASEN and the lenders.

5 Capitals prepared elements of the ESIA for the Khaladi wind project and also prepared a Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP), Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) and Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP).

As part of the Wind Energy Programme, 5 Capitals supported one of the bidders to identify E&S constraints, optimize the layouts and ensure that the proposed design of 5 wind farms to ensure compliance with national and international lenders requirements. The studies on the 5 wind farms had a total proposed capacity of 850MW.
